How Much Does a Private China Tour Cost? (2026 Prices in AED)

The honest answer is "it depends on your hotels, your group size and your route". But you should still know the range before you ask for a quote. Here are typical 2026 prices for a private trip with us, so you can plan with confidence.

Typical price per person per day

These are land prices for two adults sharing a room, with your own car, driver and licensed guide every day. International flights are not included.

• Comfort (4-star hotels): about AED 1,100 to 1,500 per person per day.
• Premium (5-star hotels): about AED 1,500 to 2,300 per person per day.
• Luxury (the best international hotels and suites): from about AED 2,300 per person per day.

Example trips

• 7 days, Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai, premium hotels, 2 adults: about AED 10,500 to 16,000 per person.
• 10 days, adding Zhangjiajie or Guilin, comfort hotels, family of 4: about AED 8,500 to 12,000 per person.
• 5 days, Chengdu and Chongqing, premium hotels, 2 adults: about AED 7,500 to 11,500 per person.

What makes the price go up or down

• Season. Chinese New Year, May Day and the 1 to 7 October Golden Week are the most expensive and crowded. Spring and autumn weekdays are the best value.
• Hotels. This is the biggest single factor. Mixing levels (a special hotel in one city, comfort in another) works well.
• Pace. Fewer cities means fewer transfers and a lower cost per day.
• Group size. Shared car and guide cost less per person.
• Extras. Private experiences, special dinners and premium seats on trains add up.

How you pay

• No deposit to book.
• Pay 80% when you arrive in China and 20% when your trip ends.
• Free cancellation before you arrive.
